MindFuel for education
MindFuel may, in future, support everyday wellbeing in educational settings. Nothing on this page is a current school product, a pilot, or an approval to use the consumer app with children.
Future products, not live services
Primary, Secondary, Parents and Teachers are possible future products only. None of them is available today. The live MindFuel Individuals app is 18+ and is not an education product.
Secondary
A possible future secondary-school product. It is not a current service and is not an approval to use the consumer app in class.
Parents
A possible future product for parents and guardians. It is not available and does not give access to a child’s private notes.
Teachers
A possible future product for teachers and school staff. It is not live and is not a classroom dashboard.
What it could support
These are possible uses of a future education offer. They are not features of the current app.

Age-appropriate content
Content designed for an age group, after a safeguarding and lawful-processing review. The current app does not verify age.
Group activity
Wellbeing challenges and group participation that do not expose one student's private writing.
Aggregated reporting
Educational reporting that would use privacy-preserving aggregated information, not individual journals.
Administration
School or college administration tools, still to be designed. They are not in the app.
Safeguarding and privacy
A school must not be given access to a student's private journal, personal reflections, or Rio conversations. This proposal does not include student monitoring, mental-health scoring, or individual risk profiling.
The current consumer app, MindFuel Individuals, is an 18+ product. It is not for children. Using it in a school would need a separate age-appropriate design, a lawful processing assessment, and a safeguarding review. That work is not done.
Ireland’s GDPR digital age of consent is 16 for certain information-society services when the lawful basis is the child’s consent. That is not MindFuel’s product age. Google’s Gemini API terms separately prohibit API clients directed to, or likely accessed by, people under 18. Any education product that used Rio as it exists today would have to change that design first.
A statement on this website is not an age check. A checkbox would not prove someone’s age.
